The President’s Award is awarded to the project that best represents the values that the Kamra tal-Periti wishes to promote. These are the values of studied and researched design, contextuality, sustainability and respect for the environment.

The jury determined that the San Pawl tat-Targa villa project most faithfully represented the values the Kamra wishes to underscore. It has achieved this through a researched decision on the orientation and position of the new building, the use of recycled building materials in its fabrication, the provision of extensive rain water storage facilities, the integration of passive cooling systems, and the clever design solutions employed to integrate services and garage spaces within the building.
